When You Feel Like God is not Involved in Your Life

Ever feel like God is not concerned about the things going on in your life? Like He’s too busy with “more important” things? I remember at one point thinking that God is super occupied with taking care of all the things going on in the world. So occupied that He wouldn’t have the time to be concerned with my personal issues.

I believed that for some time. I would choose to not talk to him about certain matters simply because I thought they were too trivial.

As I started to get to know God more through reading His Word, I realized oh boy was I wrong.  

Luke 12:6-7 reads, “ Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? Yet not one of them has [ever] been forgotten in the presence of God. Indeed the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are far more valuable than many sparrows.”

Isn’t it crazy to know that God doesn’t overlook even the sparrows that are sold for two pennies? If He cares about something as small as a bird, why would He not be concerned about the matters of our lives?

He actually numbers the hairs on every one of our head! I can’t even imagine how many that is but he cares about that enough to number it. I don’t know about anyone else, but that speaks volumes to me.

You ever had those moments where you feel like something that took place was a complete coincidence? I like to believe that some things are not mere coincidences but they God showing up in our lives.

He cares about the details of our lives because we are valuable to Him.

Isn’t it amazing that all I had to do was look at Scripture to learn that God is indeed involved in my life in many ways?

Sometimes we are unable to see the beautiful work of God at hand in our lives because we are bombarded with lies from the enemy.

I encourage you today to draw near to God and study His Word so that you may know that God is not only aware of the details of your life but He is deeply concerned about you.
